I'm just wondering if anybody here have used this hele-coil insert to fixed a thread on there exhaust manifold bolt thread?

No but I have seen it done on an aluminum flywheel. It seemed to hold OK but then again the flywheel doesnt get near as hot as the exhaust manifold.

They work fine, make sure that you have the right pitch and thread type. I use them for intakes on ford heads when they break the back bolts on the intake. They should work fine for your ex. manifold.
