A little background for all you peeps...i bought the turbo kit used, it was missing some parts (HRC very nice in helping me out and getting all the parts necessary for the install), i have a show car so items are getting powdercoated, polished, painted played with and tickled. Car needs to be completed for next weeks HIN in chicago (oh and the body shop want the car back so they car cut and repaint the front bumper for the intercooler)
Day 1 (wends June 19): Missing parts will not arrive till Friday. i figure i can get a jump start on the install, and in the process make things pretty. First thing to go is the intake (iceman CAI) easy and goodbye. next hotshot header...i remove the O2 sensor, and start to think...the hrc down pipe is supposed to attach to the stock down tube (which i dont have anymore), at first i was thinking i can get it running with out a downpipe to cat connection till i get to the muffler shop to weld me up a nice peice...but there is no o2 sensor bung?!? no O2=no run...me the easy stress person starts to stress, (can i do this, how do i get it 2 run, what Do I DO?) no biggie a beer later, and a trip to the hardware store to buy a new socket wrench and 10mm socket ( i lost mine RIP) the top part of the header is off. bottom part still attached cuz no amount of penetrating lube, will get the bolts off the cat :S. I figure i can get a small peice of muffler tubing at pepboys, drill a hole for the O2 sensor, and connect the turbo down pipe -> new peice with O2 sensor -> hotshot bottom part of header... with parts off, i cleaned and taped off the head ports and painted with this awsome aluminum hot paint (bought at walmart) looks pimp... painted the block with black hot paint, and turbo manifold also black... every thing looks good so far...

Your car should still run with that O2 sensor out, it will just be running extremely rich(safe mode). For those bolts on the cat, buy one of those cheap propane torches and heat the piss out of them. They should then break loose.....
