I am thinking of going turbo and I was wondering which turbo I should use? I have an automatic and I just need that little more pep. I need it to spool upas soon as possible. thanks for your help.

are you doing a custom setup, or are you looking into the kits? i would stay away from the t25... its just too small imo... if you are looking into quicker spool up, then go with the 16g.

Forget the T25 right now... it's a small turbo. I'm using a T3 in my custom setup.

Im going to be using the t25, the reason: It would cost like Thousands to build a engine that can take more than 15lbs of boost! Everyone says it is so small? Small turbo means it will spool faster! My freind (with an tsi awd eagle talon) Spools to 15psi at 2600rpm, and full 18 psi at 3100. If your planning on doing more than 15psi then go with a S16G or T3 set up. But if your only doing 6-8psi.....well its up to you.

I agree... if you're staying at Stage 1 the T-25 will be fine and spool quickly. You should be able to pick one up pretty cheap, as it is the stock 2g turbo. There are a lot of them on dsmtrader.com!

I would suggest the Super 16G. Even with the 16G, you should see max boost before or right at 3000rpm. With almost the same spool up time, the 16G will slaughter the T-25. That turbo just has no top end....but they are cheap to find and are one of the fastest spooling turbos out there. But for just a little bit more lag, I'd take the 16G's top end any day over the T-25...just my .02 cents
