Ever since when I was NA, I've been using 10W-30 full synthetic. I now have almost 58000 miles on her. I live in FL where it gets extremely hot and humid, 90's are a norm here. Now that I'm turbo, do you guys think I should change weight? Like a 10W-40 or something.

I used 10w30 before the turbo as well as now. I ran synthetic for a while, but now I use Valvoline synthetic blend. The price is alot easier to deal with. justin

Why do you change every 3K on synthetic?

You have less engine wear with synthetic oil. Did you look at your oil after the change?

I have 4K on my oil right now and it's still clean.

The trick is to use a GOOD oil filter.

well... I do live in a colder place (chicago) and I'm not turbo so I don't have as much to worry about.

SAE30 since the bearing spinning fiasco.
