hi
my problem is that i must reduce the boost of a stock turbo! any ideas ? or will my engine(remember european 4g63n/t) handle the boost on 10.5/1 compression-rate? a guy told me that i can boost ca 9psi on stock internals but how much blows a stock turbo??? please tell me a way to reduce the boost or what will i need to reduce,

unless you can get a lower pressure wastgate, I woudl say just to puncture a hole somewhere to allow boost pressure to leak out..

see what other's will say.

they come with 13-14psi stock and there is no way IMO you can go lower than 12 that unless you do what Kaiser said. I have a boost controller and I cant get less than 12 psi when I lower it. I would imagine that you can get an even smaller turbo hehe..
