Alright, hope you guys can help me out. I have a 97 talon nt, and the motor is being rebuilt right now as we speak. I decided that I want to go turbo. Motor is all stock so I don't want to blow it up, was planning on just running like 6psi. I think I can parts very cheap of a 92 tsi, so I was planning on getting the turbo, intercooler, and BOV. I know I need to find a manifold and piping, but what else do I need? Does the 92 have a boost controller or something so I don't blow my motor up?? If anyone has done this set up before or something similar, or just knows exactly what I need please let me know-thanks

I've done it before. You need to do a search and read the "things we've seen before" section. Rule of thumb around here is...if you have to ask what all is needed then you shouldn't attempt a custom setup.

you are rebuilding the engine with stock internals?? am i reading that correctly?

the rebuild is being covered by a warrantee, so yeah it's being rebuilt with stock internals

If you are going to go turbo.. I suggest you put in the howell bottom end kit since you are rebuilding now, that way you can boost pretty much as much as you want (keeping in mind fuel and ingintion tunning) without blowing up your engine. Don't waste your money doing a rebuild with stock parts, when they cost just as much as the aftermarket ones...
as far as the rebuild, it will come out to being about the same as a kit so why not go with a Star HRC or the new NER kit, they have done all the research already and all the parts are included. It will save you a huge headache.
