#24749, "APEX'i world sport cat back tubing size?? (for GST)"
I am thinking about buying the world sport, but I will get the GST one. Since it is for the GST, I am assuming it will have larger diameter tubing, but I am not sure. I hope it is 80mm just like the N1 cat back for the GST. Does anyone have any idea? This probably should have been in a different forum, but I didn't figure any N/A guys would have bought the bigger diameter turbo exhaust. Well, I thank whoever has the time to reply here. BTW, I can't figure out how to get ahold of Apex to ask this question. I searched their entire site. No email address anywhere. Thanks again. justin

Thanks lee. I actually found that # and address just a short while after I posted. I called and they said the World Sport for a GST is 65 mm. that works out to be 2.56 ". The N1 is 80mm, so that is 3.15". Damn, looks like I have some thinking to do. I like the way the World Sport looks more, but for 24 bucks mor, I could get an N1. Damn, i hate making these hard decisions justin

i have the world sport by apexi for the gst. i think its just right for me, not to loud at idle, under boost its not to bad.. my friend had a n1 on his 95gst and it was not to bad at idle or under boost maybe a bit louder, big difference its piping size, and the n1 is HUGE and points at a angle, as far as the world sport for the gst the canister is huge...i think the world sport is good enough of a piping size, the n1 is sorta overkill for me, plus i live in so cal ..

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I am leaning towards the N1. It'll probably be a month or two before I have all the money, so I still have some time to think about it. I read on road race's site that the GST spec N1 starts at 70mm and ends at 85mm!! Damn, that means it starts at 2.75" and ends at just over 3 and a quarter. I think for the little difference in price, the N1 may be a little better for me because if I can ever make use of the larger piping, it will be there. later, justin

Hey michael, I looked at the pics. It took forever to get them all to load. it would load like 1/2 of them then the rest would be x-ed out, so i had to reload like 3 times. I really do like the way the world sport looks. I have a blitz body kit so the entire muffler will be visible, too. It looks kind of weired right now because I have this little canister muffler and there is a TON of space around it. It looks like the piping runs under the rear cross member. Am I looking at it right? I guess it probably does so that it can eliminate that sharp bend that the stock piping has to have in order to go around the trunk. Thios place called horsepower freaks.com (i think that's what it was) has the world sport for an N/A eclipse for only $356. i am really thinking about getting it. It will probably be a long while before I boost any more than 5-6 psi, so I think it would be good for now. I have an arospeed bomb muffler on stock piping right now and it works fine. I'll let you know what I eventually get, but I am almost positive it is going to be a world sport. but now I am debating over the price difference. Oh well, thanks man, justin
