Just wondering if mileage will get better when i do my rebuild. I get like 300 to the tank right now and have been getting it even b4 the turbo. Won't lower compression eat up more gas cuz your not burning as much? Well your guyz' number should tell me that ^_^ don't forget to put what mods you got hehe my engine is pretty much stock.

Lowering the compression ratio will drop the efficiency of the engine slightly, so you can expect to get worse mileage than a stock compression engine. But, if your stock engine was worn out (forcing you to rebuild), you might expect better mileage after rebuilding the engine (even after lowering compression).

With the stage IV setup, I'm only able to get up to 230 miles on a fill up. This is city/freeway driving with occassional full boost runs. Once the fuel setup is fine tuned, I hope to get better gas mileage, but right now, it sucks.

--more efficient.

Before the total rebuild, i was getting 460-470 a tank. After the rebuild, i'm lucky to get 350. Plus, upgrading to 93 octane is a whore.
