#2405, "Cam gears : Is there a best setting with a turbo kit."

OK guys, I know this questions has been asked before, but has anyone set or tuned their adjustable cam gears to go with a turbo kit? Which settings work the best?

In previous discussions, I think the best setting--w/o a turbo kit--is to advance 2 deg intake, retard 2 deg exhaust.

The reason I'm asking is because after installing the turbo kit, my car "hesitates" or "misses" over 3500 rpm; I've changed the spark plugs, spark plug cables and the fuel filter--the car still hesitates. I'm beginning to suspect it's the cam gears setting.

Any thoughts on this? Does anyone else experience this problem now, or previously?

Thanks,
fly1

I read an article on this a while back. It said the intake cam sproket typically doesn't do much on turbo cars and often just the exhaust one is used. They said retarding the exhaust cam timing is usually best. How much will take experimentation.
