Ok me and my my cousin up North are debating on things here.. He has a DRAGIII on his LS integ and I have a Star with a Starion..basically the same setup rite. Now I've been trying to get a faster spool up time with this turbo and have explored most all possibilties...smaller turbo, bigger exhaust, bigger T/B and speaking of it I just ordered a testpipe. Anyhow he said that getting a MBC would help the turbo spool up quicker cuz it keeps the WG close until the desired boost is met. I agree to a certain extent tho. He said since our springs are at 7lbs that means it's really at 5lbs and the WG starts openning at 4lbs...so if he sets his Joe P. (ball/spring) at 5lbs then the spool will be faster. I don't know how the ball and spring work but is it like an EBC where it has the WG fully shut until the desired boost is met then pops it open making for a sharp boost in power then leveling off quickly. He's gonna get his soon and tell me if it does or not..if so then a Joe Ps on my list. Please answer some of my questions...thanks

there is a neat article in the new sport compact car magazine about turbo compressor/turbine sizes and also tells alot about how to help spool up and what effects it, and while your reading it vote for armond for the car challenge (red avenger 400+hp with out nos)
