#2389, "Attention: Murix and all others with big injectors"
Hey, I'm down in FL right now and I'm having some troublre with my car and it wanting to run good.....What do you guy's with big injectors idle at for fuel pressure???? and what is your AFC settings @ 1,000rpms on the low throttle setting??? I need to get some fuel pressure numbers from you guys.....as you probably know I have 440cc injectors....I'm not sure if you can factor that in but I need to get some fuel pressure numbers even if there from your 400's (murix) there probably close......I tried 10psi at the track and ran a 14.8 @ 10psi and I never reached 800 degree's Celcius......which is very very rich! I wanna run 17psi by the end of the week. I just need some numbers to go by....and if anyone else can help please do. And if anyone lives in the central FL area I'll be at Moroso Speedway Wednesday and Friday night's for the next few weeks trying to get my car tuned and running very fast. Thanks for any help!

Greg!
You never did stop by Atl on your way did you?
Dude, the way I figure, you already have a baseline and it is rich. The thing is, I would leave it rich for now and start slowly turning up the boost. Then tune the AFC back down once you are running the boost you are looking for. You are in the perfect environment to be doing this! At the track with an EGT and A/F gauge. Turn the boost up slowly, take notes along the way on your EGT's and see what happens.

Well the reason we never stopped by Atlanta to visit Armond was because we were there too late.....acually we slept there for a few hours on the way down to FL......We got there at 2am in the morning and slept there till 6am and I figured he was sleeping so I did'nt wanna wake him up and we wanted to get down here so we just bolted straight down to FL when we got up that morning....by the way how come your never on ICQ Murix? My ICQ # for down here is 110303935 (Snoopy FL)....As far as my car goes I got my 225/50-16 Nitto 555R drag radials on my stock OZ's now! I just got then Today!...Have not tried them yet.....My damn Adj FMU broke down too! Vortech is going to stand behind the FMU and send me a New one 2 day air and it'll be here tomorrow (Tuesday)..... Test and Tune days are Wednesday's and Friday's..... I'll keep you guy's posted on my times as the boost goes up
