#23842, "Does porting your turbo improve spool up?"
My fren with a 1g said that I should port out my t3/t4 exhaust side to help the turbo spool up faster, but then I was thinking that since it gets bigger it'll take alot more exhaust to push the blades.

Smoothing the inlet and outlet surfaces fo the turbine housing will help exhaust flow a little, and is just a smart thing to do.

ExtrudeHone the turbine housing if anything, but don't port it, you'll lose some of the turbine efficiency on the turbo and with a T3/T4 you probably already have a good bit of lag. Read the latest issue of Sport Compact Car, there is a giant section on what to do and what not to do to your turbos. Good luck
