What hose are you talking about? Is it a vacuum line from the tb? I do not think anyone will be able to help you until you are a little more specific. Also, you know that the bov will need a vacuum line connected to it so that it will work, right? Maybe just connect that tube to the bov. But again it depends on which line you are talking about. Don't forget, this isn't the pyschic friends hotline.

I'm not exactly sure what it goes to. On the back of the intake manifold where you connect the blow off valve, there was a hose already there. I removed it so I could install the hose for the blow off valve, but now I don't know what to do with the hose that I removed. Does that make sense?

If that is a factory vacuum hose then you are going to want to reconnect it. What you probably will want to do is to t off one of the other lines connected to the TB. Just pick one of the other factory lines, cut it, connect a t valve and connect the lines back up. That is what I would do.

If it's back where the 3 vacuum taps are then it's probably the EGR house you disconnnect. Just trace where it goes and tell us what it connects to on the other end.

I'm at work now, but when I get home I'll take a look at it. How will I know if it's a factory vacuum line? I don't remember the instructions saying anything about tapping into another vacuum line.

Do you have cruise control? If not there should be some open ports on your TB. I do not have cruise so I used one of the open ones. You will probably have to tap into a vacuum line or two. I have the star stage 2. I had to run one line to my FMU, one line to my boost gauge, and one to the BOV. Even with the open lines I had to t off a couple. I used the line from my EGR to go to my BOV. I have the EGR block off plate so I did not need that line. Just trace the tube and see what it goes to. You will probably need to tap it in, its not that big of a deal. I think I have one line coming off t-ed to 2 lines. With a turbo I do not think you need to worry about a shortage of pressure in your TB

Okay, I traced it down to the bottom of the fire wall and I think it's connected to a fuel line. If I'm looking at this diagram right (Chilton's page 4-48 figure 125) then it's connected to the fuel pressure regulator. So now what?

So let me get this straight.... one end goes to the stock FPR and the other went to the tb right? You had to disconnect the end at the tb to install a line to go to your BOV? If what I said is true then you need to hook that line back into the tb somewhere. Find another factory vacuum line and T into it. I would get a good T valve if you are going to go that route. What I would do is plug that line (since fuel is very important) into its own nipple on the tb. Then take whatever you disconnect and T that into another vacuum line. You do not want to have a shortage of pressure to the FPR when you are boosting. Are you still using your EGR? I am not, I have a block off plate. Then I took the vacuum line going to the EGR and used that for my BOV. That saved me having to hook my BOV to the TB. Basically though, as far as I know, you need to reconnect that line.
