#23762, "Trying to solve the jerky problem!"

Hey guys, I am having a problem when i give it WOT. Well it seems that around the time the wastegate starts opening up i get a back and forth jerky motion..... I thought for a bit that it might be the MAP sensor override control (taking fuel away when the manifold gets positive boost), but i don't know how that works so i don't know how i can test that. well when i poped my hood to see if any of the wires got burnt thru or anything, i noticed that the REALLY GOOD airfilter that came with the star kit, the ruber boot that holds the filter on the pipe (or in my case clamped right to the turbo) got too hot probibly warped and well is gone, and the filter was being held in the engine bay by the intercooler pipe.
well tomarrow morning i am going to go get a new air filter but i don't think that is any of the jerky problem
i am also running bkr6e-11 plugs gaped at .035, and running about 2 bars into the rich on my autometer.
any suggestions on how i should troubleshoot this situation would be greatly appreciated.

-Danny
