I have a 96' Talon ESi, I have had it with the Non-turbo say I wanted to get a turbo engin for it how much would it cost me and could I use a eclipse GSX or GS-T engine in it? And if I get a custom turbo on it would it be worth it, my car has 99k on it, and would that cost alot. Which way would I come out better? Thanks

Considering it is nearly impossible to put a 4g63 in your car, that sort of limits your options, doesn't it? it's not a good idea anyway. Why waste all that money for stock GST performance?

You know what I would do? Rebuild and turbo. It will cost less than it would to put a 4g63 enging in your car. Here is a rough breakdown of costs.... (all prices are on the high range)
Block - 300 (if you do not use your own) Rebuild Kit - 1100 Turbo Kit (stage 2) - 2800 All the extra goodies - 1000 Labor - 1000 - 1500 (for rebuild and turbo install)
So roughly we are talking about 6000 or so. And you will have a reliable stage 3 beast. (stage 3 being the rebuilt bottom end) For my money that is the way to go, and I did
And you can do what I did, find someone local to do the work and pay them peanuts. (thanks Dino!)
