#23515, "1st couple hundred mile confussion (kinda lengthy)"

Well just got to thank you all agian for all the help, and the snappy responses emoji THANK YOU
well first off just want to say i think the Check Engine light should be renamed the Check emmissions system light!
next i was a bit confused when exactly 100 miles after i fired up my care with the Star kit (second turbo to have on my car) I got a CEL taunting me from the instrument panel. Then exactly 50 miles after that it shut off. Well the code i got off the CEL was the o2 sensor, and i thought it had something to do about when i striped the threads taking it off my other downpipe and then used a form a thread to reseed it in the new one. but no it just seems like the first of the turbo exhaust coated the o2 sensor with something and it took 50 miles to get it off (these are just presumtions on my part, i really have no idea what caused it), but it is fixed now.
Next I would just like to let you all know that the tuning part of the system is a long and tough proccess, i am still running one bar rich on my auto meter, and it sputters a bit before the boost really kicks in. Hope to get that fixed this weekend with new plugs and wires.
But all in all, the bumps, scrapes, gashes, and the beer were really fun, and all worth it emoji to all that are going to take on this project soon GOOD LUCK, and don't get discuraged, the stock parts will come off (hardest for me was the front bumper and headlights (don't ask why i took the headlights off, i still don't know why)

HAVE FUN GUYS

-Danny

Just, curious... how long did it take you to install your turbo kit? I'm gonna be getting one in the next couple months....

Well we started at 1030am on saturday ended with all stock stuff off, and the fuel system in, at night fall around 8 o'clock or so, and we started back up on sunday at 1130 (hang over hurt bad) and ended with bumper back on and test driving at 9 o'clock at night emoji that was it and we were done!

Removing the bumper is a pain, just did it last night to remove the amber in the headlights.

I'm starting my install tomorrow after work. Why did you have to remove the bumper?

Thanks, I guess I was just assuming it was an HRC kit, even though it says Star Stage II right in his sig.
