Recently I've noticed a lot of the turbo guys on the board complaining their car is getting slower as the years pass with a turbo. Is there any truth behind this? If so what causes it? You guys keep scaring me more and more as my turbo gets closer and closer.

well it wasn't made to handle forced induction was it. Hehe my engine is still hangin in there. Stupid stuff like exhuast manifold gasket made it slow Though my engine has been jacked up eversince I had the car. Plus i"m at like 100k

The car doesnt really get slower. You just get used to it. THe reason why peolle are blowing their engines a lot is becuase their are a lot of people that have been turboed for 1-2 years running 8+ psi on stage 2. Eventually at that level something is going to give.

yes turbo 420a engines wear out just like stock ones do. you just have more fun wearing them out. a wise man say "A candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long." or if your brad or armond then 4 or 5 times as bright -Josh
