#23083, "Question about Garret turbos.."

I recently picked up a T3 turbo from a junkyard for a great price, and I was wondering if it would be possible to swap off the compressor housing and wheel for a T4 housing and larger wheel.

For you Garret guys, is this possible? I know there are a crapload of trims and sizes for the Garrets, so I got the turbo from a Diesel Mercedes in hopes of combining it with a T4. If not, the T3 is still larger than the 14B and I need a new exhaust manifold anyway....

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Why don't you give Turbonetics a ring, or visit their website.

I'm trying to avoid paying an arm and a leg here. I got the entire T3 for 10 bucks with a Mercedes Turbo Diesel exhaust manifold still attached. Just looking to see if anyone knows before I go through the hassle of calling companies like Turbonetics and paying long distance to sit on hold for 15 minutes.
