My car has 66k on it right now, and im looking at saving my money this summer and getting a star/hahn stage 1 turbo kit. do you think this will be ok on my engine? its in perfect running condition. had damn near EVERYTHING changed by Satan at the 60k mark. ill stay at 5psi until i can afford the jump to stage 2 or a starion intercooler. thanks for any help or suggestions.

My car has 53000 miles on it and has a bad Headgasket. Still running like a champ with 5psi of boost! ;P I have my kit for a couple of months now and I really do enjoy boostn'n. ITs cool to get a stage 1 first but I think getting em both at once just save you a little bit of money ;P whichever path you choose my the swaurts be with you ;P

Jason ESI-T has been running the stage 1 HRC for seems like forever now without any problems on the stock internals so it seems that when installed and maintained right you should be okay.

Thanks Stan,

Yeah, it's doing great. No leaking, no anything. I just always monitor stuff!

I drive this car hard sometimes too. I probably boost almost once a day as well. Not all of the time, but when the weather's nice and the car's warm, I boost from stoplight to stoplight. I run as hot as ~1525 or so... Closing in fast on 8k miles on the turbo.

Once, my piping gets here from Ray, I'll be stage 2 with the starion up front! (hooray!)

I love taking Ryan_RS for drives heh....We take a ride in mine then I get a ride in his RS. His car's quick, but the difference is amazing. I sit in his car and when we hit like 3000-4000 rpm's and the car keeps winding, it feels like the car's really missing something without the boost. (Like someone took all of the get-up and go from the car) Purely the difference in sound is astounding from his car to mine.

With his, I just keep hearing the exhaust and engine wind up,...in mine, just the whoooosh of the turbo....I know the difference is obvious, but actually experienceing it makes you appreciate the little things.

What does Satan change at 60k miles and how much does that cost?
