Not the best design, since you have to adjust it by unscrewing the joint. Here's a better one: I made one like that. Worked fine and cost about $10. You have to be very careful with the fitment of the parts. If they don't fit together perfectly, it won't work well.

Hey corbin, what did you use for the sleeve? I made one almost identical to this one, but haven't tried it yet because w/out an intercooler it would be asking for trouble. I also only used one bearing in it. I was kind of worried about the one i made because it seemed like the ball bearing could get pushed away from the spring. I guess it still wouldn't over boost though unless the ball got pushed clear toward the outlet on it. thanks, justin
