Just wonder but has ne1 ever leaned out their fuel system when driving in really cold morning weather? I did that on the way to drill which is like 30 miles of freeway driving from my house and towards the end of the trip the mixture was lean. My guess is that because of the extra cold intercooled air it leaned it up, but didn't know it could make that much of a difference. When I drove home in the afternoon it was fine all rich again.

Oh yeah EGTs were fine also when it was lean like around 1200-1400.

Colder Air is more dense than warmer air. When the air is more dense there is more air in your cylenders than you are normally tuned for which means you are making more power and not running rich. Basically you had enough air to use all the fuel you normally put in the engine.
