Hey Michael,
When I put mine in (BTW thanks for the help) I put it directly under the fuse box. I took the fuse box out and removed the air piping that was left in there and the ignition fits nicely. That allows air to flow across it (from stock intake piping locations) and there is air flowing underneath it. I've checked it several times for heat and I've never even felt it to be hot at all.

Matt

You have to unbolt all the screws that hold the fuse box, and the sheet metal frame. Remove that metal framing that the fuse box bolts to. On the round hole opening (where the stock intake piping went throug), I placed the Crane ignition on it and mark the mounting hole. Drill a small hole (to go with the screw size you plan to use), and use a sheet metal tapping screw to secure the Crane ignition to the metal frame--with the harness side pointing toward the ecu. Then slide the frame back under the fuse box and secure all the bolts.

hey dude, i got it..right now i got my profec b motor in that spot as well as my road race catch can...do u have the profec b? if so where did u mount the motor? i might just mount it in the car since its so hot under the hood, and when i touch my profec b motor in the same location it was hot as hell... is it true if the ignition gets to hot it could be a fire problem?
thanks dude

Id personally mount it on the side of the fuse box or around that area. You would get better ventilation I could see it melting the bottem of your fuse box if it gets to hot. BTW, nice catch can,lol emoji
