i kinda forgot what the differnces between the two are, but i know that we can only use one of the two types on our cars. i think the type for our engines is saturated, but i could be wrong, i always forget which one we use. either way, i know that we don't have a choice between the two, and whichever one it is that we use, i believe the 4g's use the other. sorry about the vague answer, hope it helped a little thought, hehe emoji

We use saturated. the basic difference is in resistance: saturated are 12-16ohm (high reistance) and peak and hold are 2-3ohm (low reistance).

The technical explaination has something to do with the amount of current requie to both open them and hold them open, something like saturated takes less to open but more to hold it there, and peak and hold require more to open, but less to stay open.

Or something like that..
