#21980, "Problems with Fuel pressure after injectors"
well today i started it up again ..so anyways i set my static about 42 and my idle was about 30..i did this because my pump was too loud and i will just lean a bit more with the afc till i can figure something out.. did a bit of low tuning... then i went for a drive my pump was loud my fuel was right and car ran fine... then i got to my 2nd light at a stop then i dont hear the pump so i look at my labtop and my fuel curve is 20+ and i got it done to -2to+2 at idle... my fuel pressure gauge was turned the wrong way on my test drive so i pulled over pop the hood and looked for leaks etc...nothing, i look at my fp and it was at 60psi? then i closed the hood then i cant hear my pump now and my fp went up to 80?... i looked on my labtop and its still around 20+on fuel... so i bring it home with the pump not loud and fp high... i pop the hood again and look around, nothing i can find... so i close the hood 3-4 times with the fp gauge outside and each time i close the hood my pump is not loud anymore, and my fp goes to 60psi...i did this again 2 more times but with the fp gauge inside to see if it was traping the line but before i closed it my pump was loud then it was not loud when i closed it?? so i open it up and had the gauge outside again and it did it again ... i notice my fuel pressure at idle after all of this was at 35 then went up to 40 at the end, and i set it to 30psi at idle before all of this....my fuse for the hrc pump looks ok.. also to note when i went back to get something in my car after 15mins my fuel pressure gauge neddle was at 30psi?odd?
