Ok I was getting a hesitation at WOT and at max boost. I changed my plugs and wires. Replaced the fuel filter and checked everything else I could think of.

Today I truned the boost down from 10psi to 7psi. And walla no more hesitation. So, this means that the MBC or the actuator was causing it. How the hell would the MBC cause my car to do that?

I also still have the 5lb actuator on the turbo. Should I upgrade to the 9lb or is it ok to run the 5lb and just turn it up w/ a better boost controler?

Generally, the stutter is (*GASP!*) pulled timing, knock, and extremely lean conditions-induced. Basically, if it stutters, it's *BAD*.

I don't think there is anything wrong with either your MBC or your wastegate, i think you are running too much boost for your current setup of stock injectors and BVROG (boost-variable rate-of-gain) fuel pressure regulator.

Get yer injectors, retune yer DFI, GO!

Out-of-the-box STAR setups on 96+ cars SUCK.
