Do you have to drill a new hole in the thermostat housing? or could you just tap the wires off the existing sensor.

If you do have to drill and tap a new hole. Where did you do it on the housing?

Yep, you have to D&T the thermostat housing. If you can wait, I should have my car back Friday evening and I'll take a pic of mine. The sensors can't touch each other in the housing, so plan carefully!

Actually, I wanted to ask the same question. I'd also like to see a picture of where you have the housing tapped. I'm not sure if this is going to adversely affect the stock temp reading, but right now, I just tapped into the oem water temp sensor. Plus, I don't understand what NPT drilling/tapping is--can anyone explain? Also, how does the water temp has anything to do with the Accel DFI, or is it just a safety feature, since the Accel basically runs off the throttle and MAP.

i mounted mine on top of the thermostat housing...


and i mounted my map sensor on the firewall..
