Why would you want to switch it form your car anyway. I just set it and forget it. The only time I need to mess with it is when I am at the track. My manual boost controller was around $60. It works great and you adjust it by turning a knob.

Well, i understand why you want a high/low setting on u'r boost controller, and there is such a device. The only question is.. how deep is your wallet? If you decide that u'll save the money.. and deal with loosing that race to the trans am, or porshe 911 there is a way u can adjust your boost for like 26 bucks. Go to your local Home Depot, and buy a pressure regulator designed for air tools. It even has numbers... oooo... numbers

Just get Turbo XS dual Stage manual boost controller... Ill be getting that after my rebuild. Im pretty sure its $240 retail but Ill get it for 170 which aint bad concidering you cant get electronic ones for less then $300 w/o a big discount. W/ turbo XS u have a low and high boost setting and a relay comes to a switch in your car. Leave it low unless your racing. Its good for track so u dont launch your car at like 15psi and spin everywhere. You can launch at lower boost then go high boost once u got traction. -Dave

If you want to be real trick about it, you can get a greddy profec-b boost controller and get the optional remote switch. Then you can swith between high and low boost. I launch on 15psi, then switch to 28psi to finish em off. Works well. Just dont get the greddy profec-a with fuzzy logic tech or whatever they boast on that one, i have had bad luck w/ em'.

The manual boost cotroller stuff works alright but for those who want to dial boost from inside, there are several ways. One of course is the dual soleniod boost controller(alot of times one of the solinoids go bad under high boost). The way i actually went was with the hks evcez. This boost controller is so easy to install and maintain without the fuzzy logic crap. It has an on/off switch so in the off position your psi is regulated by the bar set spring in your wastegate. I orderd a 9psi spring with my tial gate. Now in the on position you dial it clear up to what you want or should I say what ever you think the motor is built to hold. late mike
