my boost gauge is hooked up pretty shotty, what kind of a fitting am i looking for to take the plastic sender line and hook it up to a vac tee or to the manifold? right now the sender line is just shoved into the vac "t" hole, its a tight fit and doesnt seem to leak, but i'd like to do it the right way. tia

Yeah, I know it works and all, but there has got to be a better way rather than shoving the plastic line into the vaccume 't', they're meant for vac hose going over them, not a plastic tube sticking in thr hole, i guess i could superglue it in there to make sure it doesnt come loose, but you guys have to be doing something else? I couldnt find any brass fittings that would get me anywhere at autozone..

Come to think of it, I rigged mine too and I'd like to fix it. Maybe that's where I'm getting leaks... I hose clamped a small silicon line on the plastic boost gauge line. Then put the silicon line onto the plastic T. If you end up gluing it, use epoxy, not superglue.
I'll keep looking, but I don't have any ideas right now. If you find something, let me know and I'll do the same.

You guys hooked it up fine. That is seriously how it is supposed to work
If you really want, you can tap into the intake manifold and mount the fittings that come with the autometer boost gauges. That gives you a direct boost source, but it is such a pain to do. Keeping the "T" fitting is perfectly fine. I am willing to bed 95% of DSMers do it that way. I have seen a LOT of turbo DSMs, and I have never seen it hooked up any other way.
