during this run ------------ it was about abillion degrees out (florida heat for you) my o2 was still dead, CEL on, running VERY RICH the car wasn't tuned b/c last week i got my fuel pump replaced my balance was VERY off on my profecB, i was getting between 6 and 8 psi depending on rpm
my fastest R/T of the nite was .536 and fastest 60' was above and fastest 1/4 MPH was 96.58
just to show you how important launching/60' times are, on a run that i got a 2.668 60' time my 1/4 was 15.154 @ 93.42 MPH (compaire that to the above 60' and 1/4)
Its used at all rpm ranges. It doesnt matter what volts its reading on o2 sensor until flooring but it is operational at all speeds/rpm ranges. The reason he told us his o2 is bad is because when your o2 is bad the ECU is getting mixed signals. Therefore it just dumps fuel to be safe. Mine blew one time and I was getting around 100-150 miles per tank. Im hoping with the 8 injecters and the 1:1 FPR I can use I will get my 300-350 miles per tank back. Before shit blew up I was getting 200-250 a tank.
damm maybe i should check my o2 sensor. im getting like 170 per tank. i mean damm i filled up 2 days ago. and im passed the lowest mark. is this a common case of a bad o2 sensor?
