i know there was a post about where the oilsender is located but i can't find it. if you are facing the front of the car which side is it on?

You need to jack up the car and get under it. The Oil pressure sensor is on the far left side of the back of the block when you are underneath looking up.

that's what i thought but a 1 1/16" socket won't fit(too big) and 1" is too small.

1 1/16" is the right size for it. I just took mine off the other day. Did you remove the sensor socket? You can get both a deep well 1 1/16th and a 1 1/16" oil sensor socket. The deep well socket I found was deeper than the oil sensor socket I saw available.

what do you mean?
i unhooked the connector and put a deep well 1 1/16" socket on it and it just spins around it; it's not stripped.

Sounds like the socket may not be deep enough. You may want to see about getting a deeper socket of using an open end wrench.

Do you guys know they sell sockets made for removing the oil sending unit. Its very easy to take off.

yeah it's like above the CV boot. You can't see it you gotta feel it. You can probably take a peep at it though.

ya i can see it and know which one it is but can't find a socket to fit. guess i'll try an open end or go buy a sensor socket.

Like Dave said they make an oil sending unit deep well socket. That's the only thing that was able to take mine off. I tried sockets, open end wrenches, adjustables... nothign worked. Until I bought the oil sending unit socket, came off without a problem then.

My 1 1/16" deep well from home depot is 1/2 to 3/4 inch DEEPER than the oil sensor removal socket from NAPA.
