OK, this is sort of a touchy post for me that i just decided i wanted to make anyway. i wanted to get the real info on these questions and Bill youre the only one who can really answer them.
please dont take this offensively, im not trying to start an argment with these questions, though they may come out looking like im criticizing HRCs turbo kit.
first of all, im not going to lie, the only, repeat ONLY thing keeping me from buying the Hahn stage two is the price. because i will not go turbo without going stage two and i will most definately not do it without a front mount. may sound stupid but thats what i want. i know you guys just lowered your kit prices but im wondering if any other reductions/sales/discounts are going to be or can be offered to us, even if we have to organize a group buy and can sway some buyers over to HRC who had decided on star. i think if we got a price break on the HRC kit there would be nothing stopping you from selling 100% of the 420A turbo kits. this is where my question really comes in...you guys sell the same kit as Star, but star includes a more costly BOV, bigger turbo, and an intercooler for less than your cost without those parts. this is what i mean by not starting a hate war because id just like to know what your prices are coming from? are they to compensate for your R&D and your tech support? cause i know you have lots of it. is it to compensate for higher cost components (manifold,turbo)? or what? i know theres no way i could get your stage two with a FMIC and Greddy BOV for the cost of the star stage two's group buy cost unless i buy it used, but if i could even get it in a group buy for the same price as stars list price on the stage two (non group buy - 3250) i would not hesitate to bust out the credit card and buy it now, cause i missed the star group buy.
ps-im really looking forward to that un-biased turbo comparison you mentioned you were making so i can compare your kit to stars if i find an HRC kit for sale with Stars price tag on it.
