#20844, "Tool List"

Hey all could you guys give me a quick list of special tools(oilsocket etc) I would need for doing a hrc stage 2 installation. This would really help me so I dont have to run down to the store and get them while doing the installation.

what year is your car? mine is a 95 manuel tranny and my oil sensor was not the one that everybody else has. my car has an oil sensor that ends in a huge npt fitting rather than the 1/8" npt that all the other sensors end in. i will say this make sure there is a car available for trips to the store. and make sure you have some stuff before hand like mabye oil pan gasket exaust mani gasket special fittings for the fuel rail (if you plan to put a fuel pressure guage there) fittings for the fuel system stuff like that make sure

Off the top of my head:
- 1 1/16" Sensor Socket (deep well usually won't work)
- Hacksaw
- Schrader check valve removal tool
- Teflon Paste (I used stuff from plumbing section at HW store)
- All regular screwdrivers and sockets
- Torque wrench (Optional)
- Rubber mallet (Optional, nice for rusted parts, esp. downpipe)
- RTV gasket sealer
- Drill & large bit for oilpan return line
- Sheetmetal cutter/grinder (For 95-97? for IC piping under fuseblock)
- Oil filter, oil change stuff
- Zip ties
- Beer (Mandatory. Corona.)

Have fun!
