i have a 91 eclipse gsx only mods are an exaust and a k&n filter. the car does not seem to want to make more than 7 psi of boost. not quite sure why. the turbo is good, it came of my galant that got totaled that was pushing 18 psi. i disconect the vacume line from the wastegate actuator and it boosted to 20 psi before i got off it and reconectd the line. i think the issue may be with the vacume lines. right now all i have is a line running from the wastgate actuator to the bcs from th bcs i have a lint that t's into the line that goes from the intake mani' to the bov. the vacume nipples on the compressor outlet and on the mas aircan are capped off. the only other variable i have is a cyclone intake manifold that came with the car. any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated as i want to start modding te car but i cant till i know its in good working order.
