Here is the turbo bolted up to my manifold, I have to get the manifold modded to lower the turbo but here is the general idea! O I am also going to move the oil dump again.

Looks nice man. Why are you going mod the manifold to lower the turbo? It looks like it fits nicely to me. I'm asking because I'm fabricating my own manifold and it'll look just like the one you have. What changes would you make to your manifold?

That's why you asked me so many question on email about how they are made and never replied once you had your answers
Prepare to spend, the total cost of the first T-3 prototype
was over $400

Update: I spoke with Kevin a good half-hour last sunday, a few solutions are on their ways to slant the turbo forward and put it closer to the engine this will solve the problem nicely
This manifold was design to accomodate the 14B, which it does very nicely, but 2 peoples bugged me to have one to bolt a T-25
I was very reticent to do it since I didn't have a T-25 on hand
One never came up with the money and I was stuck with the manifold
the other abandonned his project and he's now going with a big T-3
Kevin bought the extra manifold and he's the first one to try it with a T-25, let's call that a half-success on the first try

I'm going to have about a 30 degree angle put on the turbo to slant it downward a bit, and have it moved back about 1 inch. That will solve the problem with the fit. I would have some pic's up of what the angle is going to be but my pc at home took a huge crash! In fact I lost my HD. Had to purchase a new one yesterday. (40G 7200rpm for those of you who are wondering) Anyway I will take some more pics of the Manifold this week and get em up to show what the angle will be.

Well I'm considering fabricating one but at this point I think it's going to be more cost efficient to order one from you guys. What kind of response have you had from people using your manifold? Any problems? You said mid-june before you're taking more orders, so you should be hearing from me then.

I should let you know that when Alain and Matt make these manifold's they are pretty much GIVING them away, After speaking with Alain on sunday, I realized what a deal I got. They spend about 15hrs on these manifolds(more on a prototype one). If you figure that I paid $270 for mine that means that between the two of them they made 9$ an hour each on it. This does not include the cost of the metal, machinery, and cutting and welding tools to do this job. So haveing one made for 300$ or less is quite a deal.
Thanks Alain and Matt for making this possible for us all to get a turbo system on our cars. You are appreciated.
Kevin

waht problems are you having with fitting the turbo and the manifold on the engine? clearence problems? the 14b and 16g should bolt right up to the manifold with no problems, right?

Yes this particular version of the ASOG type manifold was initally built for the 14B, the 16G use the same flange and the housing is slightly bigger but not enought to create a problem like Kevin had with his t-25
The next version will include the modification that Kevin is trying
and will become truly universal for the T-25, 14B and 16G

The reason why i am asking about this is because I bought a manifold and a T25 from Matt. Is this the other manifold you made to fit the t25?? Mine is still in the same excellent condidtion as when Matt sold it to me. Will you trade it up for a T25 manifold when you get them made.
I would ultimitly like to do a FP Big T25 instead of rebuilding my 16G.

I think you mean big T28 not 25. Dude it would be WAY more cost effective to build the 16G. The only reason you'd want the FP T28 is to have a direct bolt up and stock sleeper look if you had a 4G63t. Just IMO.

Yes you have the second one that was made
I could convert it no charge if you pay for the shipping
back and forth to canada (around $40)
I will cut it shorter and put a new flange with a steeper angle once I'll get the right dimension for the T-25 from Kevin
Bolt your 16G on it and try it on your car if you have the time and take a few pictures I'm sure peoples would love to see that

hey, if you can make one for a S16G that will fit HRC turbos, you got a customer. I'm tired of this Hahn manifold and those middle 4 bolts and not being able to tighen them down fully.

I'm just back from Carlisle, man what a show

To the guy with the other T-25, I can't do nothing until mid june
reason beeing, my partner in that venture left for 1 month of vacation in Europe 2 days ago and he's the one doing the welding

For the guy with a Hahn's manifold, at Carlisles I compared my manifolds with hahn's one, mine is about 1 inch bigger, Hahn's has the turbo centered while mine as an offset facing cylinder 3 and mine has a bigger exhaust port, again if you want one mid june or later is the fastest I can do

Alain, with the manifold that I have now unmodified, can I use a 16G?? Or is this manifold strictly for the T25. I mounted my 16G up to the manifold and it fits perfect (obviously). But will i have enough clearence by the motor or will i be in the same boat as with the T25?

It should clear perfectly, just like the 14B did
we have 11.5 inches from the engine to the radiator fans
