I beliece deanoD was trying to run those same size injectors(but without an SAFC) and it was leaning out in the top of the gears. id use the 8:1 disk/ring.

i have the 2.47" disc in w/ 315s and no SAFC. the 2.47" works out to be about 3:1, egts never go above ~1540, and a/f reads just under 1v still :O

8lbs of boost, hahn kit

Holset HX40 @ 26 psi

I have the star kit and use an 8:1 disc/ring in the standard vortech fmu. I used Accel 30LB injectors and no S-AFC. 8psi boost=1550 egt and 10psi=1600 egt This is the most boost you can run on a stock bottom end and be fairly safe with 93 octane. If you are using 91 octane, I would not go over 8 psi unless you have some race gas mixed in.

There is no need for a S-AFC with this setup. If you have a S-AFC, buy corbin's boost sensor and a set of 42LB injectors. This way when your bottom end is built, your fuel system will support 15 psi daily. Above that, there are many other mechanical/ignition issues you have to deal with.

every car will be different. Also, Deano has the star kit, so he will need more fuel than me at the same boost level cause of the bigger turbo...dont know why he needs so much more than i seem to tho...hmmm....

check out the example @ corbin's page. make sure you plug in 100% duty cycle tho. since your not running a SAFC, the stock ecu will run the larger injectors @ near 100% DC. that will make a huge difference in the formulas.

also, use the formulas as a starting point, not nec. the exact numbers, but will be a good place to start at
