Hey,

You are correct, sort of. I live in Atl, but I am currently on assignment in Reading, England with my job. It is indefinite, but I predict I will be back for good by end of this year. Until then, I make infrequent trips to Atl, which is where my car is sitting.

If you want to go turbo with a GS, you are in the right state though. emoji I would have to say we are 420A turbo happy in Georgia so a lot of experience abound. We have 4 people I can name with HRC kits and one with a Star kit on the way. I even consider MWC an honorary Atl guy since he just moved from there. If you have probs or need help, let me know.

who are the other guys from GA with the turbos (particularly the star guy)? did you install your kit yourself and do you know if they did? i ask because if they didnt can you tell me if there are any DSM sepcialist shops in ATL that could install this kit for me should i get a ridiculous estimate from satan? id like to do it myself but if satan says less than $500 with me installing the I/C then i may consider it. the only problem with getting it installed in atlanta is i would be constantly wetting myself with nervousness on the drive home. as far as my car goes, i hate that anxiety more than anything, even the problems themselves

My kit - installed myself with help from a friend and his personal garage. There is Armond - installed himself - and Joe A. - installed himself - these guys have done more than install turbo kits - they have ripped their entire car apart themselves. The guy getting the Star Kit is a mechanic by trade so you can guess who is doing his, and the last guy with the HRC is not worth mentioning. He is an interesting sorts that has a lot of misconceptions about cars and couldn't install an air filter if given the chance. If you really want to pay someone to do the install, let me know. I can put you in contact with someone with experience with DSM's and with the HRC kit that I would trust to do an installation. He can help you out.

LOL

Nope, you are not 'the guy not worth mentioning'. Armond and Joe know who I am talking about. I would hate to say names, no one on the board, but lets say I sat around amusing myself by listening to him talk about why his Greddy Type-S made more horsepower than my Blitz BOV and why it was bad that he was still driving his car after having to pour a quart of oil minimum in every day...

I think he is on his 4'th motor.....Last time I saw him, he was braging to a GS-T owner about how he got his new pistons and rods in and he was running 20 psi of boost, and how he would bet me money that his car could beat my stealth. Needless to say, he wouldn't even race me, and I found out he is sitting at 7 psi HAHAHAHAHAHA. Chris, I can't beleve we even thought that guy would be competition before you left! HAHAHAHA

have fun!
