I need info in how to hook up the fuel gauge? Where and how do I tap in for the steel braided fuel hose? I have the autometer fuel gauge.

The gauge just has a steel braided line coming from the back of it accept for the wires for the light.

if it doesn't have a sender then I assume its mechanical. In that case just hook it up to the outlet port of the fpr. it's that easy.

the FPR is in the back of the car on 97-99 so can we use a mechanical?

put it on the test port on the fuel rail it's a -4an fitting you need an adpatar to get it to 1/8"npt for that line
