Previously, I had experienced many problems after the installation of the Accel DFI and the 625cc injectors. The car would idle really rough, and is super rich all the time. I had just recently bought and installed an Accel Power Tuner; with little adjustments of the IDLE and WOT fuel mappings, my car is driveable, and runs very strong--except for a little hesitation during acceleration from about 2-3k rpm, and about 20% throttle. I will try to find a datalogger and run the car on a dyno to see how much the factory ecu is pulling timing, knock counts, O2 readings, etc.

I guess my advice for you guys who plan to upgrade to a stage 4 is: expect to also purchase the Power Tuner module to help with additional leaning of the fuel curve.

That hesitation, could it just be the turbo spooling up? yeah, you really should put it on the dyno so you can see your a/f readings through a few gear pulls, i will as soon as my car is back on the road.

Eric: Thanks, I'll you in mind. I'll let you know bro.

Brad: I can't pinpoint what is causing that slight, initial hesitation. My brother in law thinks it could be an ignition issue, which I don't think it is. When accelerating from a very low rpm and throttle, the car jerks, hesitates for a second or two; but if I give it at least a 30-40 throttle, the car moves smoothly. I definitely need to get the car on the dyno and datalogged.

That's jsut a little quirk that comes from having power :-P. My stealth did that stock. probably just the throttle rate enrichment being too high. just lightly get into it at low rpms if you don't have calmap. you aren't missing any power anyways.
