ladies and gentlemen it's finally installed and what a difference it is! i've had the howell bottom end kit installed with my mechanic. he did it all for $450. i ordered 8:6:1 pistons .020 bore. my mechanic told me not to raise the boost too high yet. what would be ok for the time being and i heard of a oil change interval when installing it? but wow i have better torque and i love the new sound of the engine. also am i considered stage III even if i don't have 450cc injectors?

was the $450 price he gave you including removing the engine itself, or did you just drop off the block for him to work on? and im assuming you had a .02 bore as well? $450 is damn good, i hope i can get my labor that cheap here.

dont go into boost for about 500-1000 miles... break it in slow.. change your oil 1st at 500 then 1000miles then you should be good ...
