#20059, "Question about adjusting Hahn's Wastegate..."

My Blow off valve is leaking...it's loosing about 1 - 1.5 psi. Bill Hahn once told me that there was about 2 psi of adjustment in either direction on the 5psi wastegate. I'd like to adjust the wastegate to compensate for the leak until I can get a new BOV. Anyone know how to do this? (I'm so addicted to boost, I can't stand to lose any)

TIA,

Turn what right?

I'm still getting the M3...It's going to take 3-4 more months to get it in. It had to be ordered.

I am pretty sure you have to lengthen the rod. There is a bolt that goes around the rod that connects to the wastegate and you loosen it up. Then take out the cotter pin that holds the end of the rod on the wastegate. Unscrew the rod (this makes it longer). Then put the cotter pin back on and tighten up the bolt.

Thanks Dave, I know exactly what you are talking about. I couldn't seem to get a cotter pin to stay in that thing, so I had a threaded pin machined out of titanium.
