i have an automatic eclipse, 1999.....everytime when it switches gears, like from 1st to 2nd, or from 2nd to 3rd, it kind of jerks, like it doesnt change the gears nicely or smoothly like it did before....and im puttin turbo in it next week, im afraid to put the turbo now because i dont have enough money to get a new transmission if that is the problem, can anyone help? i havent changed my transmission fluid for 30 thousand miles.....and could this problem have anything to do with spark plugs or spark plug wires?

My tranny jerks, especially between N-1st and 1-2nd. But... it doesn't do it at all with overdrive on.
I took it to satan, they labelled it an "intermittant shifting problem" and said they couldn't fix it. It was under warranty.
It got worse whenever I power braked / drag raced. I started getting annoyed at about 50k miles, and it got BAD at 60k. If I'm in traffic, at about 5mph, and then I slowly accellerate, it goes WHAM into 2nd, then recoils. It's bad. Satan has no idea whats up. I've heard lots of similar stories about the A604 chrysler trannys (same as ours?).
I basically decided not to power brake anymore, get a tranny cooler, deal with the crap shifting until it dies, then get a manual conversion.
