13 days in the motherloving garage and it's finaly done. No check engine light at all. Hardest part was taking off stock parts. Now I need tuning advice. Oh by the way the new fpr that HRC supplies is not that bad. It just fluctuates sometimes. Intercooler will go on before the weekend. And I have Joe P manual boost controller. Now at idle my car jumps between 60-70 psi. Full boost is no more than 2 psi and I'm not sure why. When I do hit boost (even at 2psi it still feels very very very nice) the fuel stays the same at 60-70 psi. I guess I'm pretty safe when boosting, but maybe too rich at idle? I have my boost guage and bleed tube that goes to fpr feeding off the vacuum source from the egr signal. Is this maybe why I'm not getting enough boost? Should I install the boost controller? Help me out peeps. Please, I need a hit. I need more boost. When I'm done tuning, do I just disconnect the fuel pressure guage and tube? and how do I block off that side of the outlet? I dont really want to put in the intercooler until I have it running right at Stage 1. By the way I don't have the tube from the valve cover going anywhere. Where the crank case was suppose to be, I just have it out in the open. Maybe this is a reason I'm not getting set boost? Thanks for any answers fellas.

There should be a brass plug that screws in with an allen wrench.

Either install a breather, a catch can, or you can use the nozzle that came with the K&N air filter and plug the hose in there.

idle fuel pressure 47-55psi when you hit 6psi 85psi to adjust idle fuel pressure its the main screw in the middle the little brass knob is to adjust rise/rate when you hit 6psi etc.. which actulator do you have the 5psi one?

I have whichever one came with the stage 1 kit. The intercooler is in and it feels nicer, but still same problem, fuel pressure is 60-70 at idle and boost and it won't go past 2 psi now. I have starion intercooler.

The hose hanging off the valve cover does not affect how much boost you are running. all it is for is to let the valve cover vent. I have a tube going off of mine that just hangs there. I have a 2" foot section of hose connected to my fuel pressure gauge. When I tune my car I just put it under a windsheild wiper adn when I am done I just tuck it away in the engine bay somewhere. You dont have to diconnect it.
About not hitting full boost....Check for leaks. If you have boost leaks your boost pressure will just leak out. make sure all the piping is connected well. If it still doesnt hit full boost make sure your wastegate rod is adjusted properly. Your wastegate might be open a little letting all the boost to leak out.

The boost controller pretty much solved the problem, I just forgot to look at the fuel guage. Now if I'm hitting 7-8 psi how much fuel should I be seeing and what should I do if the fuel pressure doesnt go up? And I'm trying to hook up my turbo timer, but I don't know which wire is the speed wire.

Ok I monitored the fuel pressure and it's going up with the boost. Good thing. Now problem is today I hit 6psi and all of a sudden he boost needle drops down. I hear the turbo spooling, I hear the BOV go off when I shift, and I feel some power, but the boost guage doesn't even reach 1psi. I don't feel any leaks.
