I installed a stage II star performance turbo kit eversince I got it on the fuel pump makes this loud hissing noise and its beginning to annoy me now. What should I do to get rid off this!!! Anybody wants to try? Oh yeah, one more thing, I adjusted my wastegate all the way already and I'm still boosting to 6psi only. How could I increase the pressure to about 10psi? Thank you...

1. Turn your stereo up louder.

2. Get louder exhaust

3. Ignore it.

Don't worry about the noise. It's when it STOPS making noise you need to start worrying.

You might have to worry if it starts making LOUDER noises than before...that's when the pump becomes loose...

Is it hissing or a whining???

If it's a hiss, you may be losing fuel pressure. IF it's a whine, it's completely normal.

I Hear ya bro! I just got that same kit installed in mine with the BB turbo and that Fuel pump is loud on mine too! I was just thinking about getting some dynomate to maybe lessen the sound? Or some where around that area. I don't think there's anything else to do about it. But if you find a way to quiet the sound, then let me know, my e-mail address is thetachi66@hotmail.com.

I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

I like the whine...sounds like a supercharger..you could hear it even outside the car
