I just rounded 600 miles on the break-in and have 900 more to go (I am breaking in to 1500 or so) I will be hooking up the DFI and crane soon. Does anyone have any advice or "look out for's" on the two installs?

The install of the dfi is pretty easy since all the harnes is loomed. Do you have the calmap or the powertunner? cause your going to run super rich. Some cars run fine, other cars will have probs at idel being too rich. Mine did it would die at a stop 50% of the time. But then it went out lol..
I'd go about 1000 miles then put it on. Even if i get mine back before my break in is over it will just sit till break in is over.

First of, congrats! The install of the DFI and the Crane ignition is pretty easy. The hardest thing is to cut the hole through the firewall where you'll be routing the DFI harness, and maybe, installing the new injectors (they're not hard, just a little time consuming).

Inspect the new fuel injector harness to make sure that it's wired correctly. Obviously, the wire going to the connector and what comes out the other end should be the same, but the one I got was not. If that's the case, just switch them up. Doubecheck to make sure that you've got the right injectors values. Who knows, shipping could accidentally pick an 800cc or something. And, make sure that where you tap for the power to the DFI, there has to be 12V+ DURING cranking. Certain other sources will cut off power during cranking, i.e., the radio, cigarette lighter, etc. Other than that, have fun.

I have the Mixture Trim Control and the Calmap. I am going to wait until I am broke-in before I install. Having everything on and ready to go would be way too much temptation before I am done breaking in. All it would take is some stupid Honda.

Hey, this Fuel Mixture Trim control that you speaking of, is this the Power Tuner (up to +/- 10% adjustment) option? I definitely need to get one soon.

no advice, but you can start romping on it now. 600 miles is all you need. taking it easy after that is just going to annoy you.
