#19626, "Man Im still running rich and only seeing about 4.5psi"
I tuned AFC this past week and made the correct fuel curves but car is still rumbling when I first start it up(sounds like aftermarket cams), Im getting horrible gas mileage (225 per tank w/o pushing over 5K and no racing). Also Im only seeing 4 1/2 psi w/ no boost controller. I know the wastegate is set at 7 but intercooler shouldn't take away to much. Last I noticed my vacuum on boost gauge is off and idles at 12 instead of 18 so Im assuming I have a boost leak. what else could it be? Im not sure where to look. Of course Im supposed to look at vacuum lines but that dont help me much since I wouldn't know what to do next. Thanks -Dave

do youhave the westgate vacuum plugged into the intake manyifold or the compression wheel. Plug it into the manifold so that it reads the pressure there and you don't have to worry about the loss of psi from the intercooler. also check your egr system the diaphrams tear easily. try and put a one way valve in the vacuum line for it.
