I was going to upgrade my 97 gs to a turbo and I was wondering if is really nessesary for the intercooler. I am only using a t-25 and that's it. Just want a little more power. any help is welcome

Just fab a 1g side mount intercooler. 25-50 bucks on the trader. You don't NEED an intercooler, but it helps keep EGTs down so much. Anything to help keep the engine cooler is worth it.

Over 5psi you need intercooler even with t-25.

just wondering but how ru gonna put that T25 in there? Do you have a manifold and downpipe already?

You don't need an intercooler if you are running methanol.

i am probably going to order the exhaust manifold from alain. as for the downpipe, still wondering how to get one. Any help?

And doesn't the T-25 have an internal wastegate with actuator PRESET at a relatively high boost? Is there an appropriate way to modify the actuator to open at lower boost?
