well i changed my plugs, and did a compression test while they were out. All cylinders are reading 220 psi, does this sound right for 1. compression? well, they are damn better than the 130 i was getting before the rebuild.

yep 220 is great compression. That's like really high. I guess good compression ranges from 170-220 on a 420A. But 220 is really high, you running 10.5:1? Thats sounds bout right.

haha the best I could push out was 150 today emoji the engine probably cooled down a bit though so who knows...

well, we run like 9.6:1 stock, and decent compression is ~160-220...
with 10.5:1 compression, i would think that you would see higher compression #s..

im no engine guru tho, but i think im on the right page

correct. with 10.5:1 comp, your compression numbers should be higher than the same engine w/ 9.6:1, so u look to be in GREAT shape.

Yeah I have the diagram and it looks pretty good. I am going to do surgery on my type S BOV tomorrow. Should be fun. I hope it works and then it will be sounding and working much better. For some reason I thought you had low compression pistons. 10:5 should be pretty interesting. Let us know how it runs after the break in. I bet you cant wait to get on it.

That compression sounds perfect. I have 10.6:1 compression, and I had 220's in all four cylinders too. Most 2gnt's seem to be around 180's stock.

Marcus you have 10.6:1 compression also?

I know you had some pretty slow 1/4 times, what were they? I can't believe an auto with higher compression and headwork would still not break 16's. I have an auto too, I know the feeling.
