Ok, Here is my problem. I ordered the Star Stage II Turbo setup for my car over a month ago From Wyatt at race prep and after sending the money for the turbo he contacts me and tells me that there is a backorder for the wastegastes and that it will take a little longer. Well I thought he should have told me that before I sent him all that money but did not worry about it. Well its been over a month now. I can not get in touch with him. I have e-mailed him and I have called but I can not get a responce from him.. Has anyone else had this problem, and can I get your guys suggestion on what to do? Thanks

I had the same problem a year ago. I waited 2 1/2 months on mine. Just be patient and keep emailing him.

If its one lesson ive learned in my years of car modding, its to NEVER order such expensive parts from individuals, i dont care who they are. im not saying Wyatt is pulling a fast one on ya, in fact i would bet there is a perfectly good explanation, but ive just saw waaay too many people get f-ed over. and about the wastegates, a friend of mine ordered his star stage 1 from importparts.com(they matched wyatts price) and it was here in two weeks...that was 3 weeks ago, so they sure didnt have any trouble getting the wastegate.

well I can tell you wyatt is legit. But I haven't heard from him at all for like a year now. So he's like MIA. He used to go on the board a lot and was one of first guys to get boosted, but he's a busy man now. Keep on bugging him. emoji

I got my kit from one of his group buys also....

You'll get it.

Wyatt isn't just an individual, he does run a performance business. As far as the wastegates.. If you're that ansy for your kit, have him send it minus that gate and get it later.

Wyatt is legit. I got one of the first Stage I kits and my buddy broke a fitting. He gave me his home phone so I could get a hold of him and he had the part next day air so I could get my car running. As for some other companies, they might have the kits in stock so there won't be any backorder probs. He'll come through.

Shit is all apart. Typical...

Wyatt's not going to screw you over. I waited for about a month to get my Stage 2 kit from him. I talk to him just about every day whether I call or he calls me. Sit back and relax. He's not going to take your money and run.

Today I just picked up my stage 2 star as well from a vendor near me, and i got home, and he forgot to tell me about the back order, so when i went tearing into the boxes, and keep thinking to myself there seems to be somthing missing.... well came to my conclusion real quick that the wastegate was awol, so the vendor near me gave me an upgraded one at no cost, the only question I had was what is the spring PSI on the Delta Mark II, i thought it was somewheres around 8, and the one I have is 7...
Thanks guys..

7psi spring, unless you specify otherwise for the Deltagate in the STAR kit.

wyatt WILL send you the kit. But if I were you.. I'd ask him to put in a Tial wastegate instead of the turbonetics. get the 35mm it has the same flange and will bolt right up. same price too.. I've got the tial wastegate.. matter of fact.. I'm putting that in along with my SX adjustable fpr and msd injectors in tonight.
