when driving my car sounds like a tank ive closed all the leaks up..ive notice this sound lately since i reran a dedicated vac line for my wastegate...i notice the engine rumbles like a tank. and i was wondering if its because of the wastegate with a better flow of air now.... i can quiet this but how. Im confused on the honda666 post for welding the dump tube to the exhaust .thanx john

it will be louder when your wastegate starts to open up b/c your "exhaust" will essentially be a really short tube with no muffler or anything.
If yours makes this noise at all times, it's not your wastegate. Did you plug the signal hole from your turbo when you ran the line from your intake manifold to the wastegate? NOt sure if that would be the source, but could be....

what honda666 was sayin is that you will quiet the noise I talked about in the first paragraph by welding a tube in to connect the wastegate to the downpipe.

his dumptube is already welded, it's not the wastegate john
