i tried searching for this but i cant get the search page to work right... but does anyone really know anything about this new turbo kit? the newedgeracing.com page isnt up anymore. i really want the stage 4d system if it ever comes out. 8 injectors from a kit would be awesome. thanks for any help.

The release date was about a year ago. I would be surprised if it ever came out at all. It sounds like a good kit though from what I have heard. NER= Never Ever Released

Glad to see that NER stands for something other then New Edge Racing oh well.

Turbo Kits = To sum it up I scratched the idea for now. With HRC and Star out there and now I am hearing of another kit coming out. I just do not see it being cost effective to make a line of turbo kits for the 95-99 Eclipse RS,GS. I want to do it still but as we all know the 3rd Gen Eclipse has been out for 2 years now and every time I come back to this board I see someone with a post like. Got a new Car ! or Sold my Eclipse but I am still going to hang out !!.

I wanted to roll the kits out when I moved shop back to CA but I want to get the store front up and running first. I am still supporting 2GNT and yes I still own my 95 RS I floss my 2GNT sticker at every event we go to

Things that stopped me from starting resale of the kits:

1. If I started selling my kits before my store was open allot of people would complain about lack of tec support.

2. There is always allot of HRC vs. Star post and well to be frank HRC can defend these post because bill is on this board and its up to the star users to defend there kits. I am the only one on my staff with in depth 2GNT knowledge so after the kits release I would have to stay on the board to defend my product.

3. Rumor of a 3rd Kit coming out for the 2GNT.

There is more I just cant think of right now.

So are the kits still coming out? its about a 50-50 chance right now. After my store and everything is done I am going to look at the market for the kits and see if its worth it. I want to put it together for the few who want them now but lets face it I am not a millionaire who can afford to eat it on overhead like that.

As far as the New Edge Racing Website goes my web hosting service is moving and upgrading servers right now so my site will be down for about a week.

Sigh if it only came earlier. Lotsa of newbies and lotsa 2GNTs other on the streets looking for power. If anything dude you can sell the kit on ebay. I see star kits sell there whenever their up and they sell like hotcakes.

Another kit eh heh I wonder if it'll be carb approved. That would be great if it was but doubt it.

Hey Shaun what happens if you sell the kits on an order basis and not stock them?

I could do that but I was trying to have a fast turn around. When most people drop $2000 + they do not want to wait to long. I was just trying to keep people happy on a fast turn around. Like I said I may still do it just not right now. I am going to have the shop and everything done by may so thats when I will see if I still want to do it.

All I have to say is --> Im buying a turbo kit soon, Im pretty firm on HRC Stage1. However, if your kit is proven with some testing and is cost efficent...youve got a potential buyer

same here i am gettin my tax return pretty soon and it is more than enough for a turbo kit, i was thinkin about Hahn as well.

one question how fast does the NER kit spool up. i would like something that spools up quickly like around 2.5 or 3G RPM.
